Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

We went on a Saturday evening at 4:30pm and queued for 1.5hrs. It was a little crowded but not too busy. There were only 2 pools open so we received a voucher to return on a weekday. Changing rooms are on 1 floor and showers on a different floor. There is shampoo, shower gel and conditioner provided and you get... More

The spa was overcrowded with not enough room to relax. It was very expensive especially as the steam rooms are closed. Although we were given a voucher to return we probably won't as we live to far away. The water is beautiful as are the views from the roof top, it's just a shame it was so overcrowded.

Both times I have visited with my partner on a Wednesday. The rooftop pool has been "busy" with couples on both occasions. I was unsure whether this was a coincidence however after giving it a google Wednesdays seem to popular night with adventurous couples. Will avoid Wednesday's in the future. Visited the cafe on both occasions as we had he... More

My wife and I loved our visit to the Thermae Bath Spa. The facilities are excellent and the staff are lovely. As an amputee I had reservations about visiting the spa, but need not have worried at all. The unique rooftop bath - which enables bathing underneath the stars all year round - and the indoor bath both provide winch... More

We booked the bamboo massage about a month ago and we could not book for the weekend as they were fully booked from Friday onwards. We went on a Thursday and I think the place was kind of busy still. The rooftop pool is really nice. We could catch the sunset. The place is overall clean. We had to exchange... More

Enjoyable twilight package which included excellent food. The experience in the steaming waters of the rooftop pool was memorable. My only complaint was the badly designed front entrance which was totally inadequate for the volume of people, including those, like us, that had pre-booked. However, once inside we were able to relax and enjoy.

For anyone who needs a little bit of a pamper this is definitely the place to go in Bath. For the basic package you can use the steam rooms, with 4 different aromas to choose from (tea tree is my favourite), as well as the indoor pool with lazy river and the outdoor pool that is heated. No better way... More

We booked for arrival at 9am with a treatment ( de stress massage at 11.15) for us all. So glad we booked as got straight in went up to the roof top pool which was lovely and warm and relaxing. As the morning went on though it started to get a lot busier. Our de stress massage was a little... More

Love it but the price is creeping up. The changing rooms are getting worn . The showers were a bit musty. The queues were ridiculous. Not enough woggles/floats or most people chose to use 2 each. Enjoyed my visit but the wow factor is waning.

Thank you for taking the time to review Thermae Bath Spa. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit overall. We apologise that you had to queue at this busy time. My boyfriend and I came to visit Bath and this is one of the main things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed it however it was a shame that the saunas were being renovated. It was good that they gave us free return vouchers for this though. Would definitely recommend!
