A very intimate "old fashioned" cinema, not a multiplex experience by any means. I thought an usherette would appear at any time complete with torch!!

A real art house local cinema with a range of main release and interesting films. Two screens ,one of which has a sofa balcony.Ask about the royal connection for the balcony.Really friendly staff and a good sound system.

Great cinema with an excellent programme of both mainstream and unusual films. Easy to book - better now with numbered seats. Very civilized, you can get a coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the film in comfort.

I saw The Hobbit in December 2012 in this preserved little gem of a cinema. Small, intimate and a step back in time to what seeing a film used to be like !
