Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For catholics or any one intresred in churches a most place to visit along with the Abbey watch out for the kestrel nesting in the spire tends to drop parts of pigeons down when you stand outside

I went for a run along the river and across the river I saw the church. I had to stop and take a photo and enjoy the beauty even if I wasn’t up close.

I was taking photos in Bath and stumbled upon this great church and went inside. The interior was spectacular and ornate, so I took more photos of the sanctuary. Thank you for allowing me to experience it's massive greatness.

The spire is the tallest in Bath & towers over the skyline. It is just a few minutes from the center of Bath & is well worth a visit. The inside is just beautiful & The High Altar is stunning.

We came in to light a candle and found this church to be very nice. It is worth a visit. They were rehearsing and the music sounded very beautiful. Go have a look.

When ever I visit Bath by Train I always see the spire of Saint John and kept meaning to go inside to just look around. We've all to Bath Abbey and sadly it seems that that it's the only place to go! Wrong my friends. I walked in the church and my jaw dropped at the sheer beauty of the interior. I was the only person inside apart from the Vicar who was very friendly and welcoming. Inside was also warm in temperature unlike some who struggle to heat.
What a beautiful and interesting Church. I will visit many more times no doubt and look forward to be greeted with the magnificent sight. Please visit and support this lovely Church, it's so sad that so many people who just walk by don't take the time to go in and see and marvel. It's a lovely place where you can find peace and solace from the hustle and busy goings on outside. I found peace and if you don't believe me just try?

Chanced upon this church and needed a sit down and warm up from the cold outside, not disapointed. Beautiful altar and stained glass windows. Very peaceful.

I stumbled upon this church by accident and I'm so glad I did. It's stunningly beautiful inside with some lovely stained glass windows.
