For me, it's more impressive than the more famous crescent. Don't just drive past or take an unseeing photo, look at the details. Search out the plaques which indicate the former abodes of famous residents. Check out the details in the frieze above the first...More

The Circus is three sizeable buildings of equal length which form a broken circle around a small park and road. Designed by John Wood, construction began in 1754 and was completed in 1768. The Circus is visually interesting and each dwelling is unique.

Beautiful place with a great view! Nicely leads into the royal crescent! I love the architecture and it just highlights the beauty of Bath!

The city is very nice and the buildings are part of what is around to see. I would not call this an attraction as it is more part of the scenery. Nothing really that special about it.

The Circus like the Royal Crescent is nice to walk by but not that interesting ultimately. Worth walking by through town but that’s about it.

It is amazing to walk the circus and see the individual gardens and doors. Beautiful buildings. Anytime in Bath this is worth walking around.

You'll probably drive or walk past or round this impressive place at some time while you're in Bath, if you're on the way to the Royal Crescent. Take a moment to appreciate the flawless symmetry, graceful curves and beautiful mature trees in the center. It...More

The buildings all around form a circle and it is really quite an interesting design that I have never seen before anywhere else. Compared to the Crescent, this one is by far the more impressive of the two.
