Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Yet another park in the city of Bath that now actually allows and encourages people to take their dogs into children's play area. Signs on gate simply request that dogs are kept on lead in the play area. I witnessed multiple dogs peeing all over plants and sandpit. O, and did I forget to mention.....sandpit has running water play system. How long before a child gets seriously ill or bitten....I'm a dog lover but COME ON BANES why o why do you need to be letting dogs into children's play areas ?!

The upgrading of the park has been outstanding with all visiting groups taken into account. I especially liked the landscaping and children's play areas.
For adults there was the gorgeous small coffee stand run by Maria from Roasted Lemon. Excellent coffee and Baklava. A definite place to visit on a regular basis.

Beautiful scenery and provides access to the canal walk. Also complete with a playground and tennis courts. Shares its grounds with the Holburne Museum and cafe, which is also definitely worth a visit.

Especially if you are visiting the Holburne Museum. Pleasant stroll. Walk over the bridge, see the canal, railway, pavilion and follies. Access to canal path. Free entry. Museum Cafe in the grounds.

A delightful park sloping on the hillside with good views. The Kennett and Avon canal passes though the park, so it is easy to incorporate on local walks. Well maintained with some construction activity as restoration to some buildings is in hand.

A lovey and varied garden. We were lucky enough to stay at the edge of it and walked across it every day to the Bath town centre. Loved the canal walk, and the Holburne Museum. All in all the garden is a lovely and peaceful place.

Right behind the Holburne Museum. Great children's play area plus bonus fallen tree for climbing on/under. Lovely park with a lovely atmosphere, the sun was shining. Worth a visit

The gardens are absolutely love,y wi5 lots of walking paths and secluded benches. The tennis courts were in use and the play area for young visitors looked. Ice. I loved strolling along the canal. So relaxing and a nice respite from the crowded city center streets.

Visiting the Holburne Museum, we strolled into the garden to enjoy a coffee in the tented area and came across this delight which runs behind the Museum. Grade Two listed gardens, being the only remaining 18th century listed pleasure gardens in the country. We enjoyed strolling the various paths and bridges that now span both a canal and the railway line. In addition there are some fascinating buildings and clearly a very active support group organising a number of events. We look forward to returning at a later date to see progress.

This is a beautiful park… no wonder Jane Austen liked it so much (she lived across the street from it). There are some very nice areas for kids, pets, and families to enjoy. The walk along the canal is very nice. Go have a look.
