Sydney gardens is a wonderful place to find yourself wandering. Nice romantic spots by the cherry blossom trees to sit down, or nice to lay on the grass in the sunshine. Nice quiet place to be and only a 10 minute walk from the centre...More

Just needed to get away for a bit from the centre - very peaceful surroundings, great for a walk, clean and an ideal spot for photos.

When staying in Bath a very pleasant place to stroll and relax fortunately not too often harassed by dogs off their leads. When staying at the McDonald's hotel a perfect walk into Bath city centre. If energetic you can also walk along the canal that...More

We passed through this garden after a three hour walk following the canal away from Bath. We were not impressed by Sydney garden, we felt it lacked character, it is more like a park.

Situated 500 metres from the Abbey Courtyard, along Great Pulteney Street ( scene of many period drama photo-shoots ) and behind the superbly-renovated Holburne Museum building, this is a very fine oasis. There is often on-street parking adjacent, and hire bicycles.

I did not park but walked along the tow path. I think the nearest car park could be the one by the famous bridge/ weir. Some on street parking but mainly used by residents as the houses were built without garages.
