The Parade Grounds are small, and can be reached from the street level Grand Parade. From there, a series of steps lead down to this park alongside the River Avon. The plantings are sumptuous, and there is a splendid view of Pulteney Bridge from most...More

Beautiful tranquil gardens by the river which I found a nice escape from the rush of tourists in the city. As there is a small fee, many just look from the balcony above, so it was relatively less crowded. a great spot for lunch picnic.

Lovely, well manicured park with a great view of Pulteney Bridge. Wonderful spot to picnic, people watch or just enjoy a stroll. There are lots of benches with views of the river and the gardens.

We walked through Parade Gardens on a Sunday afternoon in June. The gardens were full of people out to enjoy themselves in the balmy weather. Would love to spend more time by the River Avon in these gardens in future.

Lovely well kept gardens, great view of the river, plenty of seats. Shame that there was no refreshments available on site as you pay to visit the gardens and it would have been pleasant to sit with a cup of tea etc and enjoy the...More

Have been going to the parade Gardens since I was a child when my Grandma would take me. Good for a break from shopping, we often buy a little picnic and eat it on the grass. Good views of the river and Pulteney Bridge. Free...More
