Went to the Theatre Royal to see 'The Miser' which was excellent. This is a lovely old theatre, lovingly restored. Staff were friendly and helpful and the drinks weren't too expensive.

Lovely charming theatre. Lovely and helpful staff. Very impressed. Saw The Miser - brilliant work from Griff Rhs Jones & co. Sadly last show yesterday. Got last min tickets only few left all restricted view but was very happy with my view and seats. Recommend both the production and theatre.

A truely dire production. If you enjoy awful pantomimes with childish inuendos and really pathetic acting, then this is for you. Otherwise, avoid at all costs.

This was a great performance of 'The Miser' before it goes off to the West End. The cast including Griff Rhys Jones, Katy Wix, Matthew Horne and Lee Mack were all on form, engaging with the audience and giving us some very funny, enjoyable slapstick. We enjoyed the whole performance very much, and the theatre's atmosphere is great. A very... More

Bath Theatre Royal, as ever, is a 5 star theatre. This production of the Miser would however struggle to reach 2 stars. Matthew Horne was very good, the actress who played Marianne was very good as well. The rest of the cast were sloppy and lazy. If you are putting on the Miser, you need to show some respect for... My first time at this beautiful theatre in the heart of Bath Ok, so you have pillars blocking some of the view, the seats are probably ok if you are Tyrian Lannister, the rake of the aisles is not steep enough if Hodor happens to plonk himself three rows forward of your seat, and even the diminutive but feisty Ayra... This was a fantastic performance of 'The Miser' prior to it going off to the West End. The cast (including Griff Rhys Jones, Katy Wix, Matthew Horne and Lee Mack) were in fine form, engaging with the audience and participating in some very well choreographed slapstick. We enjoyed the performance very much, and the theatre is beautiful. Wheelchair access: Staff... More
