Great to get in here for free as many attractions have a fee in Bath. Nice just to see the decor of the era that all this history is based in. They have guided balcony tours which would be worth getting on. We missed getting...More

The Assembly Rooms are a must for any visitor wanting to understand Georgian social customs (and any fan of Jane Austen's novels). My tour was part of the Mayor's Walk, and it was really informative to learn the whole courting ritual of 18th and 19th...More

Two cups of tea cost £5 sitting at a wobbly table on uncomfortable seats. Service was slow although less than half the table were taken. Not recommended when far better alternatives abound nearby.

To me the Assembly Rooms were made famous by Jane Austen. I couldn't wait to see them in real life. Unfortunately for me on the only day I had in Bath there was a function in the Assembly Rooms and I was not allowed in...More

I have visited Assembly rooms on a day I spent in Bath, also, because it is part of National Trust estates. The rooms have free entry, they are very spacious, which is normal if we see that they were meeting points in the 1800's, rather...More
