We went today with 2 elderly reduced mobility mothers. The weather was great, food very good. The house was lovely but I expected more flamboyant 1920s decorations. Only when we got there and heard the history did we understand. It's a pity the upstairs was again disappointing but again once the history was explained we understood. The planned renovations should... More

We stopped off here for a few hours on our way to north wales mainly to get our legs moving and to tire the kids out so they would sleep the rest of the journey. On arrival and parking up, the ladies on the gates were very nice us, the children and very informative. The park is nice with a... More

Spend a day investigate the changes in the family's fortunes over the years how investing in a massive library nearly lost them everything. A great day out take good walking boots though. Great on nice day to sit outside and drink tea as the world goes by.

Attingham park is a lovely place for a visit, the walks are even better now as there is a much longer circular walk around the park , several miles. It means you feel you have had a proper walk. This Autum the trees were stunning, the colours amazing , and it was really beutiful on a sunny day. Also if... More

Visited on a Saturday with family membership. 2nd visit. Lots of cars but didn't seem to be a lot of people. Option to make a wooden deer for £8 a child but with 3 kids it was a bit much, the finished products we saw did look good and worth the money. Walked through the woodland to the play area.... More

I have visited here so many times, it is a wonderful place to walk through the grounds as well as going inside the mansion. The displays in the mansion are rotated frequently, and the show rooms are breathtaking. All the volunteers and staff I've met have been ever so friendly and informative

An interesting house to visit with loads of furnished rooms to see. You can wander around the rooms at your own pace and even experience staff cooking in the old kitchen. The grounds are nice and gardens are really great. There is a fantastic walled garden and the produce is used in the tearooms. The walk from the car park... More
