The plant centre had really lovely, healthy looking plants and bulbs as well as interesting gifts. The cafe had a wide choice of food and snacks reasonably priced. The food centre was really well stocked with many unusual items, a lot made on site and another gift shop . Allow plenty of time to browse

Good cafe and food centre well stocked with locally prepared foods. We came away with wild boar and fresh bread.

If you're heading to Ludlow, don't forget to visit Ludlow Food Centre on the A49. 80% of the products are sourced from the 4 local counties - so you're really buying local!! I particularly recommend anything from the dairy / deli & bakery. My facvourites include the Lemon Cheesecake, Quiches, Yogurts, Chocolate Cakes & Artisan Breads, The Jams / Pickles... More

We discovered the Food Centre by chance when we needed lunch while travelling to South Wales. It is just off the A49 and well signposted in both directions. The food centre itself has a great choice of foods including meats, bakery and sandwich bar. The restaurat is across the car park with a good range of food and snacks.

We visit here on a very regular basis. Knowing the provenance of the meat we eat is very important to me so by purchasing from here (and the local butchers in Ludlow) I am assured that lamb is actually lamb, beef is beef .........not horse meat or worse! Looking through the internal windows and watching the workers making piccalilli, jam... More

We call here several times a year both for a bite to eat & a visit to the shop. Breakfast this time which was very well cooked although I was a little dissapointed in the sausages they were more like chipolatas- still enjoyed it! After that it was time to visit the shop, firstly I think the gift area upstairs... More

I thought I would play it safe and avoid Mr Kipling this year - what a mistake!! The mince pies from Ludlow food centre were inedible as was the pork pie which, whilst obviously containing some pork, tasted only of fat. the paste was wrong and they were presented in a foil case ( for ease of cooking no doubt)... This review must have taken some time to write for which I thank you for taking the time. I only wish you would have talked to us with your concerns and allowed us the opportunity to either remedy the situation or at the very least explain what we are doing here, where customers have done this constructively it has worked... In response to your comments, I am sorry you feel we are overpriced. We are a traditional farm shop that supports local suppliers and maintains quality produce. We source 80% of our produce from the surrounding counties and 50% is actually made on site, using traditional methods. I believe we offer good value for money, as do the majority of... More

The restaurant has been a regular stopping point over the last year. Normally really good friendly service even when busy. But today one luke warm bacon bap took a full half hour to appear and with a half baked complacent apology from the waiter. Shame. It you don't care about your reputation why should anybody else?
