I love this place. Always a joy to visit over the seasons and to see the various animals happy and very well looked after. The volunteers that work here are very knowledgable about the animals and clearly enjoy working whatever the weather. The cafe is well priced with homemade food. There is a garden centre and I have bought fresh... More

HCF is a lovely place to bring children to visit the animals, play in the playground and have a vegetarian/vegan meal in the Cafe'. The garden centre is filled with an amazing mixture of bedding and perennial plants, herbs, hanging baskets, and a lovely little shop for both kids and adults.

Being close to the hearts of people within the city it recently won additional funding provided by Tesco and is a regular favourite for visits both during special events & outside them. The farm is... More

Small but well run farm. Lots of differn't animals to see including smaller animals like rabbits and a few exotic animals. With a play park, café and plant nursery. A really nice and quiet place to visit. Free admission.
