This is the Mecca of Snooker ever since Mike Watterson brought it here in 1977. God bless him. Fantastic , Atmosphere wonderful. Snooker brilliant BUT oh those dreadful soccer shirts and other dodgy shirts worn by 55 year olds who should know better. Dress Code needed please Crucible.

Visited for two sessions - really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was something quite special. The seats were slightly uncomfortable but it's probably because of the amount of time we were sat. Can't wait to go again!

A amazing atmosphere when the lights go down,Old seats which have seen better days, a brilliant view from any seat, close to the action, Great to go whether two tables or one. It was our first visit to the Crucible for the World Championship Snooker and we were quite pleased with the seats and the view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The service at the bar was fast . The Cafe was pretty basic and seemed dull as it was below ground level and although it was spotless it just seemed... More

Don't understand how people can say view from any seat is good. On my second visit, in a two table situation, I could see virtually nothing of the action at the table I was supposed to be viewing. I could actually see more of the table on the other side of the arena. If it had been a one table... More

I thought the crucible was a great place to visit, it had very helpful staff and a really warm welcoming atmosphere inside the venue. All seats are good and views aren't interrupted by those viewing in front of you. I was rather hoping to be there all evening until at least midnight but with Ronnie O' Sullivan and Sean Murphy... We went to the opening day of the Snooker World Championship. What a great venue, what a great event. So well organised, helpful friendly staff.

I went to see the World Championship Snooker again with my son. We loved the snooker, but I have dropped my review from a 5 to a 4 based upon just one factor that could be useful for visitors to know. Although we only see a couple of sessions per year, I paid £20 last year for audio earpieces for... More

I absolutely love this place. I've been to the Crucible many a time for the World Championship Snooker and hope to continue to do so. As tickets were sold out online some time ago, it was inevitable that you were going to have to go and try your luck once at the door. Sometimes with and without success - staff... More

The staff are great here. They do the same every day for 17 days but do it so well. Venue great overall but they do need to clamp down on attention seeking coughers. You don't hear a thing before play starts but from the moment the referee says "frame one, John Higgins to break" it starts .... and starts and... More
