Having visited the Butterfly House for the first time, I was blown away by the house itself. Overall the park has lots to see and isn't too pricey, is very family friendly and has the odd show here and there to sit and watch. Definitely recommend to family's wanting an afternoon out.

Visited with 10yr and 8yr old. We all really enjoyed it. The whole place is really beautifully landscaped and a pleasure to walk around though it doesn't take long. Some really creative ideas such as a little fairy village and witches cottage for picnics. The butterfly house is nice with some cheeky birds who whistle you to feed them! Most... More

Me & my sister brought our little boys here (9 months & 3 years). Under 2s are free, it's well accessible to pushchairs (apart from one section in the butterfly house where you are able to leave your pushchair parked up if you wish to go down the steps to one of the ponds). We stopped at the cafe to... More

We visited here as a family with 4 children under 4 and we loved it. There is plenty to do and look at. The butterfly house is very cramped on busy days but it was still a lovely walk round. We enjoyed the interaction with the lemurs, be prepared if they jump onto you, it takes you by surprise. We... More

Visited today with my 3 children aged 13, 12 and 8. The older ones were not too fussed about coming but left with the biggest compliment a teenager can offer 'It was alright that mum!' The main audience for the playgrounds I guess would be those with children aged 10 and under but the rest of the place has attractions... More
