Used to go to school opposite the gardens but still visit regularly. Great for music venues, picnics and lovely walks.Never get bored of visiting.

No, but parking is easy if you use the southern entrance on Thompson Road, just off Ecclesall Road. I think it costs us just 50p an hour. Usually spaces to be found although parking in that area is always tricky.

Yes, several of the 80-series buses, and lots of others, go that way. Ask for the 'Tesco' on Ecclesall Road. Get off the bus, cross over the road, and walk up the road to the left of 'Yankees'. You'll see the gates directly... More
