Just got back from this walk. Without being critical it was bloody awful. Nice views of graffiti and plenty of street walking by the side of the main roads. Walked from The wicker to Meadowhall. It was that poor we decided not to walk back....More

Started at Lady's Bridge and soon appreciated the calm and quiet of the walk alongside the river. First off spotting the clever rock sculptures and strolling further on. Around us a city we were encapsulated in a world of nature, seeing birds and ducks all...More

Almost a secret beauty bordering an area of regeneration and one that tells a tale of historic industrialisation. The ducks make for a beautiful sight so the area could do with more benches. A few non-domineering restaurants along the river would be ideal

With a river running through the city I expected more. Disappointed. I was the only one walking and there was trash and weeds.

Love going along this route especially in the summer. Lots of wildlife, great mixture of urban and rural scenery. Shame about the Yahoos who throw their rubbish all over the canal
