A great place to visit as you can go on long walks leading up in to the Peaks. (Endcliffe Park > Porter Brook > Shepherd Wheel > Whiteley Woods Trail > Forge Dam Cafe > Mayfield Alpacas > Burbage Bridge > The Fox House)

Ancestor was employed at Endcliffe Hall in the 1800's, and took care of the grounds. Loved the park. Perfect for families. Would love to have a complete copy of the poem on the carved toad. What a unique item.

This is a great place to stroll and am told one can just keep going and arrive in the Peak district. Through woods and along rivers and well used by families and people happily strolling.

Endcliffe park is a great space for families and couples alike – there's a good variation of terrain, and exciting looking playgrounds. The stepping stones are good fun, and the waterfall is beautiful. Go and explore!

You can walk on either side of the river near forge dam outhouse it is largely linear. However the are lots of paths round endcliffe and you could carry on up past forge dam into the peaks.
