Declining congregations at St Laurence Church necessitated a new strategy for it's use. The pews were removed and a mezzanine floor installed. The church is not only amazingly beautiful stunning building but some off the nices people and welcome in to a great church for you and your family

Reading has several old attractive churches including St Laurence Church which is my second favourite after St Mary's. It's right next to the town hall and is mainly 15th century but there are some older parts. Inside the church is a geometrical memorial to the 17th century mathematician, John Blagrave.
