Beale Park Wildlife Park & Gardens was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals and birds. Not only is Beale Park a charity, the Park is a great place to be with fun, adventure, gardens, amazing animals and birds and play parks - there's even a splash pool and miniature train!

For only £7 Beale Park offers a day out for little outlay. There's plenty for the kids to do however the park did seem a little run down.

One of those typical British parks that cannot make it's mind up what it wants to be. More statues of animals than real ones. We went on a scorching hot day- hardly any shade - which means no protection in wet weather either. The little...More

Visited Beale park with my partner over fathers day weekend, the weather was so beautiful, the heat did however mean that some of the animals were hiding in the shade, not that that's beale parks fault or that I blame them! I'd have joined them...More
