My wife and I have been to Sub89 (Comedy Loft) many times in it's current and previous guises. When we saw that Terry Alderton was performing in our home town, we just had to get tickets. We have seen this comedy genius several times and...More

Good location, decent parking and accomm nearby. Fair ticket price and fair drinks prices. Eat before you arrive as only food on offer at the site was tiny bags of sweets. I'd be back if right band was on and I was in that area.

Have been 3 times - and this place is doing well to book strong up and coming artists. Good bar with plenty of choice and its a decent soundsystem (although could be louder).

Mixed feelings on the numerous comedians I have seen here but everyone has different taste. It's so dark and dingy and why only sell nasty deep fried tat. Not everyone likes junk food!

Great retro music venue. I go to see punk and alternative bands and every time it's a great experience and well worth a visit.
