We visited in awful rainy weather, but there is plenty to do on the tour of the palace itself and looking forward to returning in good weather to enjoy the spectacular gardens properly.

Unfortunately we did not have enough time to walk around the gardens but the interior of the palace was well worth the fee. The bottom floor housed an art exhibit yet still retained the lavishness of the palace. The tour guide was very knowledgad about the estate and the dukes. There was also a second floor that contained an interactive... More

This estate covers a large amount of area located around 30 minutes from Oxford rail station. The palace buildings are a beauty from outside but could have been much better from the inside. There are cafes and toilets available. All the gardens are worth visiting and it is a heavenly place for photographers. The trees, rivers, animals, and other flora and... More

Magnificent gardens and interesting exhibits. They offer an inclusive tour with a guide which was informative and interesting. We also stayed for the Christmas tour in evening which was beautiful - approximately a 1 hour walk around the gardens with magical displays - highly recommend this if they do it again next Christmas.

We were very disappointed regarding our visit to Blenheim Castle. As Americans we were looking forward to viewing our first glimpse of an authentic representation of how the aristocracy live in the UK. To our dismay we were subjected to a hideous modern art exhibit that obscured the rooms we were touring; and without any prior warning. We had to... More

We had a flat in Woodstock for 8 months so we took advantage of the annual visitors pass. It's expensive if you only get to visit for a day out but it is a fabulous house with so much history to learn about. The tea rooms are very nice & the shop has things you actually want to buy. Great... More

A wonderful palace that was interesting to me because of its connection with Churchill. It is expensive but you can convert your ticket into an annual badge which is useful and we intend to go back in the spring to look round the gardens. Our only gripe was that we were disappointed with the food in the restaurant.

WE have visited Blenheim a few times & decided to go to at Christmas as we had some friends from Australia who had been in the summer & wanted to return. We went when the Christmas at Blenheim illuminating trail was on. We first revisited the house not knowing that there was an art display on. Well I must say... More

Visited Blenheim on Bank holiday Monday. The first big disappointment was to find a so called 'art' exhibition in the state rooms. According to the website this should have finished on 31st December and we would never have travelled to Blenheim on that day had we known that the rooms would not be displayed as normal. We tried to ask... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review following your recent visit. We're disappointed to hear your thoughts on your experience with us. Our art exhibition with Michelangelo Pistoletto finished on 31st December, but as it was so extensive and some of the pieces were so large, it takes several days to fully dismantle. We are sorry... The only privately held estate that can carry the term "Palace" in the United Kingdom, Blenheim Palace is a great place to spend a day and soaking up the history. Two types of entrance fees, just the gardens or Palace and gardens. As is was a really nice day and I was short of time, decided to focus only on... More
