We had a lovely afternoon wandering around the streets of Oxford seeing a lot of the places frequented by Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. Our guide Sandra was extremely knowledgeable about the character's and the locations and it was a very informative and enjoyable experience. I...More

I just returned from Spain and was delighted with the free walking tours put on by very informed and highly educated young adults. I expected the same level of service given I was in a city of higher learning and taking a tour that cost...More

Since I had quite some time to spend in Oxford, I attended both the "Oxford Walking Tour" and the "Footprints" walking tour (which is free!). Comparing both tours, I definitley prefered the "Footprint" tour over the "Oxford Walking Tour", because the Footprint guide was way...More

My family and I enjoyed the walking tour of Oxford. The guide was knowledgable and spoke loudly and clear, meaning it was possible to hear most of what she said - despite traffic and building noise at some locations. The down side was that we...More

We would have enjoyed this tour with a different guide. Stuart was distracted or bored or eager to go home for the day or perhaps all three. He gave us information instead of a tour, stopped briefly in locations and couldn't get us into others....More

Jeff was my tour guide, he was very nice and had a good sense of humor about the University and the city. He was knowledgeable about the history of the University, including the colleges as well as some of the surrounding area. I would highly...More

We had a thorough tour of Baliol college and other parts of Oxford with the quirky, fountain of knowledge called Jeff. His brain is like the Bodleian College library that he took us to to see the Magna Carta (1217)! If you are a selfie...More

The walking tour with guide Jeff was excellent. Jeff is passionate, knowledgable, engaging and a great character. This tour is not for tourists wanting to take selfies! It delves beneath the surface of Oxford's history and beauty. It was quite fascinating and unusual. I'd highly...More

The tour is interesting, you see. Any old buildings in the city centre and the guide always has a nice anecdote ;) Unfortunately it was to fast so you hadn't much time to make pictures or only enjoy the architecture without losing the group. If...More

Depending on your guide, you get a quirky overview and some great history of the City of Oxford. From begging to later years. Our guide was Simon, who reminded us of an overactive Professor and even smelt like one!! He was great and answered all...More

Hi, I'm afraid I can't answer re distance from the station as we didn't travel by train. The meeting point was at the gates of one of the colleges, I'm 99% sure it was Trinity, so I'm sure someone would point you in the... More
