I regularly come here for walks around the lake and grounds. It is beautiful and has a great balance of fields, lake, stunning hall and many deer to take in on your way around.

I still find the museum the most bizarre thing about here, the parking charge is a little unnecessary too, however the grounds are beautiful, the building grand and the batman theme is still running strong after its movie appearance

I visited with my friend and our 4 children aged 1-7 in the February half term. It’s £3 to park for 3 hours which isn’t bad. You can pay more and park all day. In the summer you probably could stay for the day, it...More

Visited Wollaton Hall again today, however there were no deer in the grounds! Stunning as always though. If you can handle taxidermy then head into the hall. However with a severe phobia of taxidermy this wasn’t the place for me. However my other half throughly...More

One of my favourite Notts walks is Wollaton Park. Great walk up the avenue of trees from the Harrow Rd entrance, past the Hall, round the lake and back. Great in any season. Do be careful of the deer though, beautiful from a safe distance.

Yes. A spacious place to run around in. I'd advise going further away from the house, and do make sure you don't attempt to touch the deer, or get too close to them. They are wild animals, not play objects!
