The Nottingham Half Marathon starts and ends here at the Victoria Embankment. Large open space next to the river, plenty of pathways. Easy to reach by tram from the city centre.

For a lovely walk along the Trent you can't beat this stretch of Nottingham, especially if anything is rowing on the Trent, memorial looks impressive and a pint at the end with a choice of pubs is a place to rest.
