We visited the theatre Royal again the other night. This time it was a special show with Design O'Conner and Jimmy Tarbuck. It was a great night, Des is quite frail but can still joke and sing, a few forgotten words didn't detract from his...More

Saw OMD here on Monday great atmosphere fun audience etc. Lots of bars and toilets. Staff very helpful and friendly. The only reason my revue is not 5* is that there is no central aisle in the stalls. Consequently you spend all evening getting up...More

It is an interesting building and there is a good view of the stage from upstairs and in the stalls. They have some really good events on so it is worth checking regularly. Staff were friendly. There are not many ladies toilets so the queues...More

We came to see Jimmy Carr recently in the concert hall. Excellently priced tickets and a parking token which was at a reasonable cost. Excellent sound quality in the auditorium. The only downside was a pint of larger and a bottle of Diet Coke came...More

I recently went to see Celtic Woman perform in the Concert Hall and no matter where you sit you have an excellent view of the stage. I have been to both the Concert Hall and the Theatre Royal in the past and both facilities provide...More

Close to the centre of the City, with plenty of hotels and car parking nearby. Also handy for trams and buses, and 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Three levels of seating, all giving a good view of the stage, seating is very comfortable...More

Depends on the day and time. Mattines no one gets dressed up for. Anything else for an opera I’d say jeans wouldn’t be appropriate but no need to act like it’s the royal opera in London.
