From push bikes to steam engines with historical local machinery involved in the textile industry, lots to look at. The curators are retired engineers and have a lot of information to impart about the steam powered engines.

My kids always enjoyed walking round this museum. It is under cover so if the weather is wet or cold you can still enjoy your visit to the park and Hall

This was a really interesting place to visit. We all enjoyed spending some time looking round. My steam engine and daughter was particularly keen on the beam and other steam engines.

It is about 2 miles from the city There are plenty of car parking pay and display.
