Many walks start from near the cafe. from a short family stroll to long walks for energetic hikers. A good place to get out and view the Derbyshire Moorland countryside. Cafe ideal for snack with tea/coffee. Toilets available. Parking chargeable for non Nation Trust members.

Walked up Padley Gorge to Longshaw & spent time in the small gift shop.Bought a paperweight in the shape of a robin & recieved a discount from a very sociable lady volunteer. Nice snacks & good pot of tea. Clean toilets. Thank you.

We walked a short and muddy route last weekend very exhilerating with good vJews towards Baslow and the wider Peak District. This walk whilst relatively easy is boggy even in summer.

Hello there, the tea room and visitor centre is open to all. The benefits of National Trust membership include free parking and the chance to give back to the estate, but all are more than welcome to use the facilities.
