We only walked a small section near to our campsite between Whitby and Robin Hoods bay, but what we did was beautiful with high cliffs, fields and woodlands. If I had the time and the inclination I would certainly walk more of it

you can join the trail at Whitby and follow part of the trail to Robin Hoods Bay and you will enjoy a sea view all the way. There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the abbey and the path is close by.

We were staying fairly close to the National Trust Centre at Ravenscar, so we were able to walk in both directions, but on separate days. The first circular walk from Ravenscar to Stoupe Brow has spectacular scenery along the coast and is well worth a...More

Wonderful cliff edge walking especially in the Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay area. Intriguing geology of various colours. Superb bird and plant life.

We stayed in Robin Hoods Bay and only walked part of it, but we were talking to a couple who were walking an staying at different places. They had pre booked bed and breakfast along the way.
