Set amid trees and parkland. A good test of golf. Reasonable condition for the time of year. Very popular.

Visited Slaley Hall on a budget golf package and was not disappointed..!! The 2 golf courses were both great to play; the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and (for the most part) very attentive. Slight reservation about the way our group (8 people) was treated at dinner on the 3 days we were there... no access available to the main... More

Hunting course in great condition- greens a little bumpy, but it is early in the season. Hunting course is not worth the asking price, however good deals can be got from online providers (n.b. not Slaley directly). The course was quiet, views spectacular. Front nine awesome.

The course was in reasonable condition but some of the walkways were poorly maintained and, I would guess, difficult for anyone not fully fit. The direction between holes could be better. The Hunting was exceptional -... More

We arrived at slayley hall and the weather was awful but we were greeted with a friendly smile who quickly checked us in and gave us our key card and dinner reservations. The room was only a short walk so we could manage our bags although we were offered help. The room was nice and clean the way the wife... More

Ordered lunch in the claret jug, temperature was almost sub zero and the darts was blaring on every TV. Ordered a burger for £14.50, which came with pale yellow undercooked chips, served in a bun that would have choked a horse, with one slice of tomato and three pieces of leaf, no relish, dressing etc - the burger had an...
