This climb to the top of the tower was very good as the views from up there are amazing, however if you suffer from any condition that makes you out of breath easily then I wouldnt suggest it, I dont consider myself as fit but...More

Highly recommended but £5 per person is a bit much. Also, if you are "getting on" a bit, like me, you may want to think carefully whether you do the tower climb. It is 275 steps and there are no resting places on the way...More

Great view but not much else for the princely sum of 6 funds per adult. Unless you have a York pass I would give it a miss

It was worth climbing the spiral staircase to see the amazing views from top. Loved every minute of it.

The climb is pretty much stop start so there are rest breaks on the way up. Great views at the top. Worth the £5.00

I am not trying to offend, but those who consider themselves oversize will find the tight circular stairs difficult. Generally, it seems easy enough to get up the stairs... there is a break partway up, and although can be tight my girlfriend and I who...More

275 steps, spiral staircase, very few windows on the way, but well worth it for the stunning views. There are not many places to stop, if you need a rest, and the last stint of stairs numbers 150+ so be prepared to puff and pant...More
