This tour was so much fun. With lots of jumps, screams and plenty of laughter. I really can’t put in to word how good this tour was.

An informative tour that provided flip top head style laughter coupled with appropriately timed frights and stories of Yorks intriguing past. The experienced entertainer guided us through the streets and manoeuvred the crowd carefully to ensure everyone could see and hear. The stories were supported...More

Been wanting to do this for a long time. So glad I finally did it! Worth £6! The guide was funny and theatrical. The cold winter weather I feel was just perfect for it!

We walked to the shambles on a Saturday evening where we were greeted by a gentleman dressed in Victorian clothing. From here he took us on a fantastic tour around York. He was very entertaining and brilliant at bringing the stories to life. If you...More

We joined this ghost hunt at the top of the Shambles. The young guide gave a great acting performance during our tour of the rather grisly side of York’s history. We thoroughly enjoyed it. He kept us entertained during the entire tour with his acting...More

This was a really fun evening. Our guide was excellent (the tall, handsome one from Cambridge). There was only 3 of us and this tour would probably work better with a larger group. But he did a great job of getting everyone into the spirit...More

I went on the ghost walk and was highly impressed, the young man leading us (obviously a professional actor/comedian) was fantastic, York holds many interesting stories that are worth taking a closer and theatrical look at.

This tour was really fun, the man leading us was very entertaining indeed. Being led through creepy alleys off the usual beaten track in the eerie darkness you get to see a refreshingly different side of York.

Fantastic entertainment even in the chilly winter weather. There are several Ghost Walks taking place in York this was the Ghost Hunt Walk which meets at the Shambles. An excellent way to spend a hour with family providing the children are around 10 years of...More

All of the streets are flat, and there are no curb issues. As far as distance, I really can't judge - covers much of old York center. But, I think you would have little difficulty - so yes, you can do it.
