A short walk from the city centre, All Saints North Street is a hidden gem a little off the beaten track. The interior architecture is very impressive, the church is home to some stunning stained glass windows, dating from the 1400's. The Nine Orders of...More

I came here as part of a university history seminar group. The church is fantastic, and somehow has a far more authentic and untouched feel than some of the other 'medieval' sites in the city. All Saints boasts a relatively enormous amount of original medieval...More

Another York venue with magnificent medieval glass, but very different from that in the Minster. Also a splendid roof.

Checked the hours on website and checked with concierge. All good. Walked to church. It was closed and only open a few days in August. Would have helped if that would have been Known and posted.

Renowned stained glass windows in an ancient church building with many other features of interest. Somewhat off the beaten track and all the better for that.
