Built in 1730 by Thomas Atkinson, this is a splendid example of early-Georgian architecture containing beautiful 18th-century furniture and paintings mostly from Buckingham House (now Buckingham Palace.)

Lovely clean site,staff pleasant and helpful,facilities for the disabled are toilets, shop and reception a little lacking in the games room, restaurant,and pub they are not accessible with mobility scooters .The shop and reception can be.

Visited with my wife and 10 year old daughter, absolutely beautiful gardens and a woodland walk, when we visited the ticket office was closed but you can buy tickets from the tea rooms in the carpark.

Sutton Park is not a huge rambling stately home. More of a lived in place but full of interest. The guide was excellent if a little acerbic. Worth a visit!
