Seldom would I rate a church poor on TA but this church shows pure disrespect for the craftsmen who by their labours built it. I am not of any religious persuasion but would suggest that those who plan and build churches do so to the...More

It's old and in the center of town, open and free. But not especially grand or pretty. Take a peak, but no need to stay a long time.

The church itself is quite beautiful, very welcoming and active. When I travel to York, I visit the services which are plenty with many ways to get involved.

Very different churchmanship to the Minster and although still has very traditional interior it manages to include a wide range of styles. Very friendly, welcoming and people around to chat if you want to.

The staff here are great and will take the time to tell you all about the building. The senior building manager, called Rob, was very pleasant. If you're in town visiting the Minster next door, don't pass this place by. Rob should get a pay...More
