We've never been before, but based on reviews we thought we'd go. Beautiful scenery and a great playground. Lovely place to walk around and lovely coffee/reading cafe. Really relaxing place to spend time.

Great site a few minutes walk into York centre or turning right out of the site there is an ideal walk for the dog. Excellent site and toilets, lovely wardens. We've been here a number of times and the standards are always very high.

If you park in Hospital Fields (on a Saturday or Sunday) you can park on the road for free and access the park near the Millennium Bridge. Hope that helps.
