An excellent venue for families and groups to enjoy a picnic. Lots of local amenities. Clean toilets. Kids play areas. A well kept and pleasant park by the river.

Good park with reasonably sized play park and some interesting sculptures dotted about. There’s a cafe inside and the odd ice cream van about. Lots of goslings and ducklings too.

Do see the park as its relaxing, free and walkable from historic sites. A history will add to its culture.
