Take the time to visit this house it's fascinating what one man can do to a house is amazing, and then you get to do the ghost tour in the cellar very good

Enjoyable NT visit. Yet again shows what people do with their money when they don't know what to do with it. All to impress the neighbours. The restaurant is particularly good

First of all, if you're driving to York as a sightseer use the Park and Ride. We used the one at Askham Bar - constant flow of buses, and only £1 return with our bus pass, otherwise £2.80, but still cheaper and easier than trying...More

This house was changed so much by the last owner that it is quite quirky. The more interesting rooms are upstairs, loved the bathroom !

Lovely place to grab coffee and cake or a delicious bowl of soup - pumpkin and apple on this occasion. Right next to the Minster which unfortunately doesn't have its own cafe.

You can purchase on line. I highly recommend if you are going to visit several attractions getting the one day York city pass from the visit York tourism shop by the Minster. Will save you money. Only good for the day.
