4 or 5 of their own beers on tap. A few bottled. You can sit inside or outside. You can sit in the middle of the brewery. It's right next to the abbey. Great location.

Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely view of the Abbey and very unusual seating. Metal beer barrels with cushions on top to sit on and wooden pallets for tables. Dog friendly too. Hubbie tried the Jet Black which, he said, was very nice. We were staying...More

I booked for a group of us to visit the brewery as if been totally unaware that Whitby had a brewery until I'd searched for breweries in the area. The majority of us hiked up the 199 steps, whilst the less athletic made it up...More

We went here on a rainy day with our little one for a quick stop after visiting the Abbey. We were not disappointed! Very welcoming staff and really nice beers. Worth a look if you enjoy your real ales!

After walking from robin hoods bay was ready for a pint. The beer didn’t disappoint but the plastic it was served in was just not good enough. Closes at 5 on a busy afternoon, I think they need a business manager. Enjoyed it, but must...More

Visited after a walk out to the lighthouse along the coast path before visiting the abbey, excellent ipa, wish I could have stayed longer to sample the other ales. Well worth a visit.

A good range of beer on handpump. Outside seating available, mainly made from old beer kegs and pallets! Inside seating is minimal. On a nice warm day, though, it is a great place to visit and relax in relative peace, away from the bustle of...More
