As if Norwich itself isn't already pretty much perfect, in terms of history, architecture, geography, scale and commerce, it's also awash with brilliant pubs which cities four or five times the size would be happy with. I'd been recommended the PA by a mate so...More

Thought we'd found a treasure. After sitting down with a round of drinks, bar man informed us that in ten minutes the dj would be setting up where we were sat. No signage on the table saying such. No other place for us to go....More

A great pub with character and friendly, helpful staff who were quick to point out a great selection of unfined cask and keg ales, some of which I enjoyed as we whiled away the afternoon. A varied assortment of vegan pizzas looked very tempting for...More

Love the pizza here, and normally good local brewery beers on tap. Even the odd stout which is a plus. Pro tip: have the Sausage Party pizza. And Cajun fries. Mmm.

Finally got round to visiting after meaning to for a while, had a couple of the vegan pizzas (sausage party and doner) and the vegan nyc fries, all really tasty and very good value for money. Went during the day with our son and was...More

This is a good beer pub, which tries to offer sport on tv and a big screen, but they fail to live up to other bars nearby. Today, attracted by a World Cup game they insisted on a DJ playing music so loud that you...More

The Plasterers is a fabulous boozer - it is small and friendly pub. The beer selection is awesome and there's normally always somewhere to sit if you are prepared to scooch and share a table with fellow beer lovers!
