Had the Greek salad. Feta from goat's milk. Pleasant and crunchy salad. Sadly and surprisingly no tomatoes included. Warm bread tasty but became chewy when cold. Menus on tables. Only noticed specials board on counter after I'd ordered. Not told about it by waitress. Salad took 15 minutes to arrive at end of lunchtime session (ordered at 1:50pm) but not... More

We attended a ghost supper here at the Guildhall and were thoroughly entertained and satisfied. The evening starts with an initial talk from "The Man in Black" over a drink from the bar. Then an excellent hot buffet of curry, lasagna and/or cottage pie with various accompaniments of salad, wedges, macaroni cheese, salad and garlic bread. Then a further telling... More

This is an iconic Norwich building having housed a prison, Magistrates Courts, a police station and also holds the office of the Sheriff of Norwich. Love it.

Those of you who never came to the old Caley's, well, that is missed.. went here for first time for years as moved out of the city a few years back, the hot drinks are not a patch on the old Chocolate Manufacturer's café, can you imagine how good the Mocha used to be here, now it's a frothy milk... For coffee and cake before we did the escape room in the dungeon below The Guildhall this was perfect. The room is clean & well decorated and hints at its past use. It's just at the top of the market square so it's a convenient drop in place.

We always visit the guildhall but I also love to stand and just look at it! It's a beautiful building, extremely historic and houses many different things! We always love the crystal shop but there is also other parts open to the public.

I popped into the café as it was near to my work. The whole space has had a lovely re decorate it felt lighter, brighter and friendlier. I ordered a ploughman's and dark hot chocolate. The food was presented on a wooden board, loads of cheese, pickles and really lovely bread. There was a token salad on the side. Hot... More

We booked the Guildhall for our evening party after our wedding at another venue in the city earlier. The Cafe provided the Buffet and we provided the contents of the bar. We had a live band and we catered for 100 guests. We can only say, based on the feedback from our guests, what a fantastic night. The food was... More
