I took a group of kids here to see the wildlife. Of course they are not great birdwatchers but saltholme caters for this. Providing a whole host of both entertainment and engagement. A fantastic nature reserve. help support its important work.

Enjoyed taking my family here for the day, it is a nice experience seeing all the wildlife and being taken care of so well, the staff were lovely and the wildlife enchanting. Wish we had more reserves like this in Middlesbrough.

The site has a very pleasant tea house and small shops selling RSPB merchandise. The location incorporates excellent birdwatching opportunities with several hides available at strategic locations. The area is best known for waders and migratory birds, but there are many other species as well
