Can't believe I'm actually reviewing the WOOLWICH Ferry, but we did the Staten Island one so seems only fair. We used it as foot passengers after as part of a 30 mile bike ride and it was great and gave us 5 mins well needed...More

Free! Takes a few minutes, gets you across the river but you can’t see any views. I believe everything is an experience and I’m always glad to have had an experience but this is not one I would go out of my way to have.

This most efficient free service affords an opportunity to cross these famous waters although there is not a great deal to see immediately on arrival either side. The directions for disembarking are also somewhat confusing.

Bring back a three boat service. Large queues block the main Woolwich roundabout. You wait so long for a boat it is quicker to go to the tunnel.

Yes and it’s still free of charge. The ferry takes articulated lorries and everything smaller. Happy travels
