We always used this station as we use to commute into the city, but since moving away we dread coming back and hitting it at commuter time as everyone is in a rush and you nearly get knocked over or trampled on by people rushing...More
This is a really good spacious train station. That has a bottom and top level. There is lots and lots of small shops and restaurants and food places to have something to eat. One of the better stations.
My family and I stayed at an AirBnB in London and this was our closest station. It has everything! This station has access to the tube and the overground trains for day trips. If you're going to England and staying in London, I highly suggest...More

From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
Yes there are some but I am not sure if they are still available to the public because of security. If you are coming to UK through an airport I would say check out the left luggage service as this has a security check.
