At £33 we definitely got our monies worth - over 5 hours to play 18 holes! This is not the first time. Richmond Park is one of the largest parks in south west London. It's roads and gates lead to different parts of London and is used as shortcuts by residents nearby. It has lots of deer and rabbits and chestnut trees and also a botanical garden and pretty teashop.

Richmond Park has so much to offer any Visitors. The Golf Club. Pembroke Lodge for Tea and beautiful Cakes. The Flower Garden. Several Gates to explore. Lovely relaxing 3 hour walk through the park. Stopped off at Cafe..lovely food at reasonable prices..will come back for bike hire..The deers were our highlight, was able to get real close and get some great pictures.

I would have thought that after all the clear investment in the new club house, that the course would be better kept. Don't get me wrong I like the course, but the fairways could be better looked after, and some greens are well kept and some are awful. They need to do better.

This is an inexpensive (for London) public golf course. We played The Duke Course (18 holes), the standard of the course preparation I'm afraid left a lot to be desired, the bunkers were very poor and the fairways resembled grass fields, some greens were very much better than average as some were ridiculously soft and appeared to have very poor... Having played Richmond Park Public Courses (The Dukes and The Princess) over many years the redevelopment and reconfiguration of the course have yet to fully bed In. Accessibility is only available off the A3 (near ASDA) which for some is less convenient than when the entrance was by Roehampton Gate. One of the Catalysts for this quite considerable and costly...
