Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The bronze statue is enchanting! The statue base is made up of lots of beautifully crafted animals, flora & fauna on a tree stump. There is something different to look at all the way round and the statue deserves a close look. There are fairies, mice, rabbits, and all so life-like. Beautiful.

Peter Pan is the boy who never grew up. He has been adored by generations of children. The statue shows Peter Pan, blowing his horn, with various small creatures at the base. The Peter Pan statue is in Kensington Gardens, London. By the way, there is a replica, an identical statue, in Perth, Western Australia.

Walking through Kensington Garden we can find this small bronze statue. These were the gardens that inspired James Matthew Barrie to create the famous Peter Pan character. It was made in 1912 and was brought to this place by the author of the story himself. It was during the night, to surprise the children of the city the next day. It is worth it if you are walking through the area to approach it to take a photo.

This sculpture of Peter Pan stands about 4m high and has a conical form, like a Christmas tree narrowing to a point at the top. The sculpture is topped by a figure of a young boy representing Peter and is wearing a nightshirt while blowing a flute. The sides of the sculpture are decorated with small fantasy figures of squirrels, rabbits, mice, and fairies.

This sculpture is appropriately located in Kensington Gardens which partly inspired the story of Peter Pan. It's a cute little statue that reminds me of my childhood.

As others have mentioned, the location on maps is slightly different. It's just south of the Italian Gardens. From there just keep walking south along the path to the Long Water until you get to some benches. The statute is opposite those i.e on the right in the direction you're walking

In this age of so much being in your face brashness, this was a delightful sculpture to find. It is overlooking the lake in Kensington gardens, but in it's little dell, trees and shrubs it's backdrop, it is a sculpture that you almost stumble across. It is subtle, with so much detail, conveying the wonder of the book that the films have never managed to convey. Seeing it surrounded by autumnal coloured foliage created a truly magical atmosphere in this small, unassuming corner. Only disappointment, the gate through the fence was locked so we could not examine the sculpture from behind it.

I'd have wandered for ages without the benefit of technology, hoping to find this statue. I stumbled on it & laughed as someone had written "<---morning" in chalk on the path nearby.

Peter Pan represents a great deal to many. An entertaining book, stage play, or any number of cinematic interpretations, but at its heart, he is the spirit of youth & the refusal to let go of our childish flights of fancy, which is something we all should consider holding onto, even just a bit longer.

This statue helps us do so. So glad it's there as a reminder.

I don’t know why, but I expected the Peter Pan statue to be in a more prominent, tidy garden. Instead, it’s stuck in front a random group of young trees and lots of unkept bushes and overgrown grass and weeds. If the idea is to create a field meadow type of landscaping, then they need to plant much more colorful and eye appealing flora than this.
