Came all the way from Edinburgh to hear The Rah's play on Saturday night! Venue is good enough size and liked the stage as you get a clear view of the bands. Drink fine, staff pleasant as was the 'bouncer' . Cash only but not...More

Went to see a comedy show on the Sunday night. Was told on the way in seats weren't guaranteed (for a comedy show surely only sell as many tickets as there are chairs!!). Due to limitations with the layout half the venue was closed off...More

Hi BUGG1973, apologies for the sluggish response, I just worked out how to claim this page. If you let me know what night you are referring to I will investigate further. Usually we have comedy on Monday's only (plus Thursdays in July, Edinburgh previews) and...More

We came here to see The Mechanisms - it's important to note because their performances are a story, with speech in between the songs. It's important to be able to hear and understand the words both in the songs and in between so that you...More

Great comedy nights on Mondays & great value for money. Been there a few times now & always had a great laugh. Drinks are quite reasonably priced as well.

This place runs the gamut, musically speaking, from bands who are ready to be signed to those who are still signing their names! You're sure of a great night's entertainment this Friday if you board The Good Ship - and I'll be playing there too...More

My friend had a gig here. They have good acoustic sound for small gigs. Shape of the house inside is irregular but good to see a gig if it's a small crowd.
