The Village has become a firm fixture on Soho's gay scene since opening in 1991. The Village was the first of its kind to be opened in London and since then there have been dozens of bars who have copied its successful formula. The Village really does offer something for everyone 'all under one roof'. The upstairs 'Soho Bar' dance floor is where all the snap crackling pop, chart and commercial dance action happens, with residents Heidi Liscious & Robyn Banks, plus our gorgeous gogo boys on the bar! Descend into the basement club, where you'll find the best in chunky funky deep house & tech with the cream of London's dance scene DJ's, Paul Heron, Gordon John, Massimo Paramour, JJ Gullo & Gonzalo Rivas on rotation. Through to the 'Cafe bar' you'll find a more relaxed vibe with lots of seating & comfy booths. Further more, head upstairs to the new 'Cocktail Lounge' where you'll find another bar with luxurious booths, chandeliers and a stunning view of all the action right up Old Compton Street. We are now open from 3pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, and you are also very welcome to take your drinks al fresco onto Brewer Street where you can drink in the afternoon sun :) Pop in & say hi!

Lively atmosphere and great drinks during happy hour(s). Recommend for a drink en-route rather than staying a long time. Checked bags on entry, so security aware. Well worth to pop in for a drink.

Horrible, racist, sexist and aggressive security guy. Very discriminatory not letting us in for no reason just because they didn't like our faces, that we were women and/or that we were Spanish. Worst place I've ever been in Soho. Avoid it if you can as...More

Last night we attempted to get in Village but was refused entry on the grounds of being a hen party, which is door policy apparently. We were by no means a rowdy hen party, there was only 5 of us, we were not drunk whatsoever...More

Not a bad place for a quick drink but not my first port of call. Went here for a drink on a night out and the drinks weren't the greatest. Very quiet inside a strange atmosphere. Not sure I would visit again.

The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho
hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a
compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars,

Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene –
and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping
