The Almeida theatre is slightly unusual, in that it is a horseshoe shaped auditorium. This gives you a good view of the stage all round.

I can't recommend this theatre enough, I really think that if you love theatre you should definitely visit this theatre. The "Summer and Smoke" was amazing! Will definitely come back again.

We came yesterday to see "Summer and smoke" which was excellent. Wonderfully intimate theatre and very atmospheric. Theatre staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was with one of the bar staff who in-between serving undid her pony tail, rearranged her "bun" and fixed...More

This small theatre is worth a visit as you fell as if you are on stage it is so intimate. I went to see Summer and Smoke which was impressionable and meaningfully acted. I would certainly see this play again. There is a pleasant bar...More

As kids that used to stay up late to watch The Twilight Zone with our grandma’s we had to go to see the play. We didn’t expect to enjoy it so much, it completely brought us back to those late nightsfull of mistery and horror....More

Bloody hell, what a disappointment! Cant knock the theatre itself, as a building it does its job, but the production, left me wondering if the writer/producer had EVER been outside London's burbs. Three hours of my life I'll never get back. Great building though!

Went in late December 2017 to view "The Twilight Zone". The play was just great. And, the theatre itself was quite the venue. Small, but, comfortable. Exceptional sight lines and fine acoustics within. We spent hour beforehand enjoying quiet company and fine libations at their...More

The Almeida continues to be one of London best theatres. Productions are unusual, imaginative, and well directed. The standard of acting is consistently high and the set designs are remarkable. As a 95 year old disabled person I have seen every show (apart from periods...More

Quicker and cheaper to take the airport express from Paddington, so taxi to there. If it's Heathrow you mean.
