I saw Paul Dempsey here. It is a great venue for a small gig. I'd only go to see acoustic or softer music as a metal or punk gig here would be a bit too insane and your ears would be bleeding by the time you left. Good bar up the back too.

Went here to watch Ferocious Dog and what a great little place to see a band, only a few minutes from Highbury and Islington tube station it's quite small but it was not overcrowded and easy to get to the bar and toilets. The sound quality was really good and I prefer watching bands in a small venue like this,... More

Reviewing a venue is a bit tricky in that the amount you love the thing you've gone to see, and the degree that the performance lives up to expectations will colour your opinion. So to get that bit out of the way, Tragedy, the worlds greatest heavy metal tribute to the Bee Gees and beyond, are awesome and the gig... More

Third visit to The Garage on the occasion of a rare appearance in London of James McMurty & his excellent band!! This really is one of my favourite small London venues that doesn't get too packed, offers great sight lines & brilliant sound! What more could a grizzled leathery gig goer want?? Free beer I hear you say, well I... More

I have been here to see quite a few bands. Parking was quite easy around the back of the building. The staff inside are very friendly and I love the fact it's a cosy atmosphere with no drama. Reminds me of when I used to go to The Marquee in London. The sound quality as well is superb. I even... More

This venue can be found right near barclays bank opposite tube station. There was alot of scaffolding outside so hidden a little. As you look at the building you want the door on the far left which will take you upstairs. The venue itself is quite small but the sound was great and acoustics great. Nice little place to catch... Went to this venue to watch Wednesday 13 over Halloween weekend. The venue perfectly matched the theme of the weekend. It is a great venue for music and I would recommend to see some great live bands.

I've been here a few times now and I've never had a bad experience. I'm quite small so it's always difficult for me to see unless I am at the front but this venue you can see from where ever you stand. Good selection of drinks and there also a small window at the back where they sell the merch... More
