Have visited more than once and each time there's a little improvement either in the cinema or the surrounding area which is being developed with eateries and bars making Waterloo a very nice place to rendezvous with the added bonus of the IMAX, a must...More

Went to see Dunkirk and it was my first trip to the IMAX. Sound was amazing, I agree with earlier comments that sitting towards the rear is slightly better.

I went to go and see Dunkirk on 70mm here at the BFI IMAX, and it was simply the best cinema experience of my life. The screen was amazing and felt very immersive, and the sound was awesome too. Highly recommend!

This is one of the few locations that screen 70mm IMAX films and the experience is amazing. Well worth travelling a bit to catch an IMAX 70mm film as opposed to a regular screen.

We went to watch Dunkirk which was an excellent movie. The downside was that the sound was turned up a notch too loud. I know they want to create an effect but the reality is the sound became distorted and distracted from what was going...More

Amazing cinema! Went to see Dunkirk with my girlfriend and we were both blown away by the surround sound quality, huge screen and the clarity of the film and image, incredible! Definitely the biggest and best cinema in the UK!

I'll second Stan and hope it's a 70mm release. As for a midnight showing I'm not sure, imagine tickets will go on sale late October 3/4 weeks before release.
