The Soho Theatre puts on a wide range of work. If you look at the listings you'll see maybe 6 shows on the same day. Some pieces are short - just an hour - so you could even go to 2 things on the same...More

Production of Magic Flute is wonderful. Papageno has outstanding acting ability coupled with glorious voice but all cast are great.Stunning Queen of the Night, [the person not the place] but she is most marvellously camp. Great small venue and charming staff. Only spoilt by 'two...More

This was an unknown territory for my mates and I so didn't know what to expect. The venue is small and intimate. The chairs can be uncomfortable for longer than an hour. However, Ahir Shah was brilliant. Very current and had a few belly laughs....More

Struggled to get a spot in the bar beforehand as it was so busy, but good lively atmosphere. Theatre is certainly more on the intimate side, but that's surely not a problem! Tickets etc. easy to pick up.

No need to pre-book drinks and a table. The area is a little small, but the bar service is good and people don't mind sharing tables. It's all part of being in London to squash up a bit.
