I've lived in London most of my life and walked up and down Dean St. countless times without ever noticing this little gem. Well I saw a comedy show there last week and now know what I've been missing. A real comedy emporium with a variety of shows in different spaces within the theatre each night. Many of the acts... Just back from Mr Swallow - Houdini. Great show, an hour of fun. The theature offers good facilities and is a lively place to meet before a show. Great bar and atmosphere.

We saw the Festival of the Spoken Nerd here tonight, and it was a very pleasant experience. The theatre used was on the second floor and compact. Not cramped, just bijou. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a thoughtfully-supplied set of water jugs just outside the auditorium, the seats were OK, and the legroom was OK. The show's... More

Saw Andy's 2016 Review with friends, Booked tickets for Row D, only to find out when we got there that was the front row. Had an absolute blast. Spent some time in the bar first, which was crowded, but prices were reasonable for the area, and the beer was superb. Would recommend the venue, and will be keeping an eye... More

Great 'little' venue to have a fabulous time. Nice bar to get together before the show- you can bring your drink with you.

As someone who loves small intimate theatres but also loves coming to London to find the big name productions this is heaven. We came to see Ade Edmonsen in a one man play and what a great place to see it. You felt you were chatting to him in his flat rather than separated from him. Great venue

I went along to see jinx monsoon at the theatre, my first visit! It was a great experience! Quite busy but space for all. Great atmosphere and sound. Friendly staff too

A must go venue for comedy fans, with all the usual caveats that not everything and not everyone is funny all of the time. The main theatre seats are a bit of a test, not the most comfortable but whoever went to a comedy venue and expected to be comfortable, intellectually, emotionally or physically? Particularly love the bar for before/after... More

I'm a big fan of Ade Edmondson and was delighted to see him perform in such a theater. Four stars as the seats are hard work and uncomfortable. Setting and venue is great. Adnams ale as well.

Visited this venue to watch a comedy act, which was in the basement. It was a well laid out & intimate space, served by it's own bar - perfect for the type of act we were there to see. The central area is also great for hanging out - whether going to see a show or not - with a... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
